Korumburra Primary School has proudly served our local community for over 100 years. Our school motto is “Challenge and Achieve” and our many values include Learning, Respect, Responsibility and Community.
We pride ourselves on our caring and supportive environment and the experiences we offer to our students. Teachers and students believe they work in a safe, orderly and nurturing environment where teaching and learning is at the centre of all that we do.
At KPS our staff are now using Compass for daily role marking, attendance, events, reporting and more. We encourage our parents to login to Compass to receive regular updates and daily news bulletins. If you require a login, please contact the office and one of our friendly staff will help you get online.
Marley is classed as a ‘care dog’ and is a loved member of our school community. On days when she comes to school, she can be seen in classes listening to students read, being cuddled by students who need some quiet time, walking around the school with students at recess and lunch and even racing around the staff room!
We are becoming a “Kids Matter” school! Kids Matter is a program designed to improve mental health and wellbeing in students so they can develop as happy, balanced kids. It involves not just the students and teachers but the whole school community.
It’s really important that we look after our belongings and make sure our clothes don’t get lonely when they’re left in lost property for days, weeks and even months at a time…
