Our School

KPS logoKPS has proudly served our local community for over 100 years. Our school motto is “Challenge and Achieve” and our many values include Learning, Respect, Responsibility and Community.

We pride ourselves on our caring and supportive environment and the experiences we offer to our students. Teachers and students believe they work in a safe, orderly and nurturing environment where teaching and learning is at the centre of all that we do. We are fortunate to have more than 100 volunteers regularly supporting our school. We value parents and community members as an essential part of the education partnership between the students and our dedicated staff.

School Assemblies

ANZAC AssemblyWe hold regular whole school Assemblies on Monday and Friday mornings from 9 – 9:30am. Parents are very welcome to join us as we celebrate our school and student achievements. Both assemblies are presented under the direction of our Year 6 Student Leadership Team.

Special Assemblies are held for occasions such as Anzac Day and the presentation of badges to student leaders. These are also presented by our Student Leaders.
